Men, Women & Seniors
Building community and growing together
We organise a variety of opportunities for people to enjoy each other’s company outside of Sunday services, with activities for men and women of all ages.
Men's Prayer Meeting
The monthly C-P-R (Coffee-Prayer-Rusks) prayer sessions allow for great conversation and connections between the men at NUC as well as focussing on prayer.
Women's Prayer Meeting
Our ladies meet monthly for prayer, fellowship and seeking God’s guidance. It allows for a time to grow closer to God through the power of prayer.
Women's Ministry
Quarterly events are planned during the year to encourage women to reconnect, share their faith and experiences, support each other and building lasting Christ-centred friendships.
Care Ministry
Our Care Ministry team ministers to our congregation through hospital visits and support, counselling through difficult times, and support for grieving families. We also regularly run the GriefShare programme, a 13-week course aimed at helping grieving people deal with both the practical and emotional challenges that follow the loss of a loved one.
Seniors
All seniors in the area are invited to the monthly Seniors’ Tea to connect with each other, hear from God’s word and enjoy the social interaction and entertainment provided.
Young Adults
One of our recent explosions of ministry at NUC is happening in the young adults space, and all are welcome to join! We have a monthly meeting for a time of fellowship, where we seek to build strong relationships awith each other as we all seek to celebrate Christ in the challenging world of Jozi!
This space will include various games and activities, chill times, times of sharing and vulnerability, and most of all caring for each other in a way that reflects Christ.
